Begin with imagery that YOU like, you are the one who is going to have to live with it for the rest of your life… You should show up at the shop with at least a vague idea of what you want. Discuss the size, placement, and color scheme with the artist to achieve the look you want. Not all skin tones can take the same colors, the artist you choose should have knowledge of how this works and recommend what’s best for you.
